Nickelodeon: ‘Sam & Cat’

Today Dan Schneider, creator of iCarly and Victorious, announced that he has started working on a new TV show starring Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, currently called Sam & Cat.
Even though iCarly is finished filming, you don’t have to say goodbye to Sam! The series will follow Jennette as her character Sam Puckett and Ariana as Cat Valentine, who will be playing roommates starting a babysitting business. “Can’t thank @DanWarp @JennetteMcCurdy and @NickelodeonTV enough 4 this opportunity.. I’m so excited about this show I could cry. #SamAndCat,” Ariana tweeted earlier today.
Meanwhile, Jennette’s iCarly costar Noah Munck has been busy with his own pilot called Gibby, where he will play a counselor at a recreational facility for middle school students.

Bad, bad idea for a show. I love the two characters and the actresses but the characters in a show together? Honestly think this will fail. Cat is supposed to be very ditzy and dumb. Sam is supposed to be her usual bad self who is super mean. Those two kinds of characters do not sound like they go well together at all. I see a lot of potential for Sam taking advantage of Cat like giving her crappy kids to babysit and such.
