Q&A with Alexis Biesiada

Tell us more about the movie STANDING OVATION
Well in the movie STANDING OVATION, I was one of the lead roles, and basically it’s a musical about two groups that compete against each other for 1 million dollars, and it also teaches you to follow your dreams no matter what.

What character did you play?
I play Tatiana a Russian girl with a big voice. In the movie I also sing an original song “All I Wanna Do Is Sing” that I wrote when I was 9 years old.

Since STANDING OVATION has finished, what is next for you?
I’ve been recording a lot to try and finish an album!

How long have you been singing?
I’ve been singing since I was 5 years old.

Do you prefer singing or acting?
I love them both

What was it like working on the movie STANDING OVATION?
Working on STANDING OVATION was something I never imagined doing and it was also a great experience.

Do you write your own songs?
Yeah, I love writing. It kind of comes naturally.

Who inspires you musically?
Christina Aguilera has always inspired me because her voice is incredible and she’s unique.

What are your long-term aspirations?
My long-term aspirations are to be winning awards, being able to perform for millions of people and be in many more movies.

What other things do you enjoy doing?
I like hanging out with my friends and having a good time. Going on Oovoo or Skype with friends , and also ride my bike in my neighborhood
