Question and Answer with Elizabeth



What was your favorite thing about working on “The Princess and the Frog”?

Elizabeth: I really enjoyed being able to use my voice instead of my face to bring Young Tiana to life.  I also enjoyed learning about animation and meeting my new friend Breanna Brooks, the voice of Young Charlotte.

 Did you see the final movie in theatres? What did you think?

Elizabeth: Yes, the entire 5th grade class at my school took a field trip with me on opening day and we saw the movie together.  I also brought some of my collectible items from the premiere to share with my classmates.  They asked me a lot of questions about the auditioning process, the LA premiere, and meeting other famous people like Anika Noni Rose, Terrance Howard and John Goodman.

 I really liked the movie!  I thought it incorporated everything about New Orleans from the music to the food to the bayou.  I especially liked the theme of the movie that you have to work hard in life, and to never give up on your dreams.

Who have you not worked with, that you’d like to work with some day?

Elizabeth: I would like to work with Raven-Symone?, Selena Gomez, Madison Pettis, Demi Lovato, Tyler Perry, Denzel Washington, and Will Smith and his family.  I would also like to work with Oprah Winfrey and Anika Noni Rose again, but this time I would like to be on set with them!

What made you want to be an actress?

Elizabeth: I have always liked putting on shows and plays for my friends and family around the house.  I also started performing in front of audiences at my church and school at a very early age.  I enjoy being able to communicate and express myself through acting.  I can use my talents and emotions to make other people laugh or bring a character to life.  I just enjoy expressing myself!

What else do you like doing besides acting?

Elizabeth: I love to sing, read, cook, play the piano, and hang out with my friends at the shopping mall.  I enjoy going to Sunday school at my church.  One day I want to own my restaurant just like Princess Tiana.
