Fill in the BLANK!

If I could be stranded on a desert island with only three things, they’d be: my mom, my cell phone so I could call my family, and fresh water to drink until they rescued me.

The person I trust most is my mom.

One thing I can’t live without is my family.

If I wasn’t an actor/actress, I’d like to be a singer.

One thing I would never do is harm another person.

One thing I really want to do is play more pranks on my sisters.

One thing that really scares me is elevators.

The craziest thing I’ve done is I can’t say it for print.

The best thing I have done for someone else is volunteer.

Dream: This is your second Dream Magazine photo shoot! How did this one compare to the first?

Joey: Both times I had the best time! I love to have fun and Susan Sheridan the photographer always lets me be myself! She also plays the best music in the background to rock out to!

Dream: Are you still in touch with any of your Ramona and Beezus cast?

Joey: Yes. I still see Selena. We go out and eat and hang out and I got to go to a few of the Wizards of Waverly Place tapings this year. I text and email with everyone else because they work or live in other states.

Dream: Tell us about filming your new movie, Crazy, Stupid, Love, which comes out this summer.

Joey: I was super excited to meet Steve Carell! Julianne Moore plays my mom and she is the classiest lady I have ever worked with! Ryan Gosling is so fun on set and Emma Stone is really nice! My part is small but it was great to be able to work with such nice people!

Dream: Is there anybody in Hollywood that you want to model your career after?

Joey: Well I have always loved Drew Barrymoore and she went from kid actor to adult actor, so I hope I can do that too.

Dream: Who do you look up to?

Joey: My grandma and my mom and my sisters! We have a really close family and I think they are all great role models for me!

Dream: Tell us about Jay-Jay!

Joey: Jay-Jay is the best pig in the world! Well, she does get into trouble sometimes. Like today I caught her climbing a little fence we have. She was trying to eat the rose bushes. My mom said that Jay-Jay learned how to do that from our dog Dallas, who also likes to climb the fence and eat the rose bushes. I have to say, that I don’t get it-those rose bushes have thorns and you would think they would hate to eat those things!!

Dream: Would you ever consider creating more music?

Joey: I love music and singing and dancing!! I would love to do more music! I was asked to be part of this really great program and tour and teach kids tolerance through music. I am hoping I can be a part of it, if my acting schedule doesn’t conflict!

Dream: What has been your favorite project to work on?

Joey: I would never choose a favorite because each project I get to meet new people, go to new places and play different characters, so I really do love them all and feel very lucky to be able to be part of every project I have ever worked on!

Dream: What do you like to do besides acting?

Joey: I like to do survival classes with my Uncle. I like to roller skate and ride my scooter. I like dancing and singing. I really like to do volunteer work. I think everyone should try volunteer work-you meet new people and it makes you feel great inside for helping out.

Dream: What TV shows do you enjoy watching?

Joey: Well my all time favorite show is Survivor. I have been watching it since I was born. This last year was especially cool for me because I made a great new friend who’s name is Amanda. She is Jeff Probst (the host of Survivor) niece. She took me to the finale and I got to meet her entire family. They are all so wonderful and I have a bunch of new friends forever!

Dream: How would you describe your style?

Joey: Well I am kinda girly yet tomboyish-is that a style???

Dream: Out of all of the character you have played, who are you alike the most?

Joey: I have little pieces of me in all of them.

Dream: Can you confirm any facebook, twitter, or youtube accounts?

Dream: What advice can you give other young people trying to become actresses?

Joey: Don’t give up! Don’t take it personally when they don’t pick you for a part! Always have fun! Study your favorite actress.

Dream: Tell us about your most memorable fan encounter.

Joey: I will never forget when one guy asked me to sign his turban. He was young and I said I couldn’t do it because his parents might get mad at him, but I signed something else.
