‘Wizards’ Special

Selena Gomez will not only star in, but also executive produce a one-hour Wizards of Waverly Place special!

The special will reunite the cast, including Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin, and Gregg Sulkin.

Selena explained to Radio Disney, “I’m working on my new record and I had great projects I was a part of this year, but ‘Wizards’ and Disney Channel and everything that is a part of this is my home. I’m not ready for it to be over, so I just kind of want to do one more thing.”

It was Selena’s idea to come back for one last special, which will be filmed in Los Angeles starting in October. It will show the Russo family as they travel to Tuscany, Italy to meet their long-lost relatives. Alex Russo accidentally casts a spell that results in a Good Alex and a Bad Alex and they eventually fight on top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, with Good Alex trying to save the world and Bad Alex trying to take it over.
